Visual Sound Purchases JBL Vertec

BROOMALL, PA – October, 2006 – Broomall, Pennsylvania-headquartered Visual Sound, Inc. recently took delivery on a new JBL Line Array audio rig for their Event and Production Group. Visual Sound is the Mid-Atlantic region’s leading provider of audio-visual solutions for the corporate, association, educational and government markets. It has been the contracted in-house provider of audio-visual services for the Pennsylvania Convention Center since 1993 and a major provider of Audio Visual and Staging Services throughout Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.

Visual Sound chose the JBL Vertec Line Array system for a number of reasons: It was the number one requested sound rig by its clientele, the Vertec system sound quality is second to none, and the whole sound rig installs easily with less labor. Each Vertec box can also be networked and controlled independently from a ground position, supplemental boxes are easily located locally and rider acceptability is higher than any other brand.

Sixteen JBL Mid-Size, 3-way VT4888DP powered line array boxes were purchased by Visual Sound as well as six JBL VT48882DP subs, six VRX932LA two-way line array boxes and eight SRX 712M speakers. The flexibility of the system allows Visual Sound to divide the boxes to meet the challenges of multiple concurrent staging requests.
